April 14 Update: Seeking Cloth Face Mask Donations

Hello all,

Again, thank you for the encouragement and graciousness you have expressed to our team over the past few weeks.  It really means the world to have your understanding and support.

We are pleased and proud to share with you that we still have no confirmed cases in any of our campuses.

One of the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is to encourage residents who leave their room to wear a facemask as well as perform hand hygiene, limit movement within the building and maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet away from others.

That being said, we’re seeking donations of cloth masks for our residents.  Ideally, we’d like to issue 2-3 masks per resident and between Friendship and Salem Terrace at Harrogate, we care for nearly 900 individuals.  We realize this is a big ask, but our residents’ health means everything.

To donate masks, please bring them to our Residents’ Center, located at 397 Hershberger Road (it’s the building located directly behind the electronic sign on the corner of Hershberger Road and Florist Road) .  Just inside the automatic doors you will find a tote box in which the masks may be left.   Our team will take it from there to launder, label and distribute the masks to residents.

Thank you for your consideration and participation in helping to protect Friendship and Salem Terrace residents!

Take care and stay well,

Joe Hoff

President & CEO
