Hello friends,

First off, thank you for entrusting Friendship to care for your loved one during the day.  It is a privilege and honor to be part of your lives.

‍

As you are well aware, the threat of COVID-19 has drastically affected everyone and everything, including our organization and its normal operation.  

‍

Thankfully, we have no confirmed cases in any of our campuses, and we are continuing to take all precautions to prevent external exposure.

‍

That being said, we are sorry to announce that as of Monday, March 30, 2020, Friendship’s Adult Day Care at the Feinour Center will be closed until further notice.  We look forward to opening our doors again, as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

‍

As much as we want to stay open to assist the center’s families who have members that are essential in the workforce, after participating in a call with the Virginia Department of Social Services, the leadership team made the difficult decision to close the center.  

‍

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you and your loved ones.

‍

In our efforts to support you, our friends, and provide peace of mind as much as possible during this time, Friendship is offering to provide Home Care services at cost. We acknowledge some of our day care participants should not be home alone, and in many cases, their family members and friends must continue to work.  If this offering is of interest to you, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
