Friendship Announces Internal Promotions for Health and Rehab Director of Admissions and Assisted Living Director of Nursing

We are proud to announce internal promotions of Erin McCoy to director of admissions for Friendship Health North, and Ashley Davis to director of nursing for assisted living.

“At Friendship, we strive to offer growth opportunities for our team members,” said Joe Hoff, Friendship’s president and chief executive officer.  “As part of our culture initiative, we’re developing career growth tracks to ensure opportunities are available for our people.  We’re so pleased and proud to promote both Erin and Ashley into greater leadership roles within our organization.”

McCoy joined Friendship in 2012 as the admissions coordinator for Friendship Health and Rehab Center North.   McCoy has been instrumental in working with hospital staff and family members to help individuals receive the care they need, whether it be for respite stays, rehabilitation or long-term needs.

“I’m really proud to be part of Friendship and am very honored to accept this position,” said McCoy.  “Having leadership see and appreciate the effort I’ve been putting into my job means the world to me.”

“Erin has been a tremendous team player,” said Mike Grepiotis, administrator of Friendship Health and Rehab North.  “On a daily basis she is tasked to meet the needs of so many people in order for us to provide care.  She has proven time and time again that she has the professionalism and skills needed to take this next step in her career.”

In Friendship Assisted Living, Ashley Davis, LPN had been serving as nurse auditor and has been with the company for the last four years.

“I’m very excited and grateful for this opportunity,” said Davis.  “I love my job, I love the people I get to serve and work beside every day.  It feels really good to be appreciated and I look forward to what the future holds for me here.”

“This promotion is very well-deserved,” said Chuck Flynn, administrator of Friendship Assisted Living.  “Ashley continues to amaze us with her compassion, attention to detail and her genuine love for nursing.  She makes Friendship a better place to live for our residents, and a great place to work for our team.”

In 2019, Friendship earned the platinum award in “Roanoker Magazine” for best employer.

“The award speaks volumes as to how we at Friendship value our team members,” said Hoff.  “It’s a competitive landscape, especially in the healthcare industry, so we are doing all we can to help grow and retain our team members who are integral in helping Friendship excel in the service we provide, and share the vision of where Friendship is heading in the future.”
