When Joy for All Companion Pets learned that Bibiana and Conner Bell, children of Friendship's Director of Inpatient/Outpatient Rehab Diane Bell, sold personal possessions in order to purchase two robotic cats for Friendship residents to have Christmas presents, they felt they had to take action.
The following statement was received from a Joy For All representative:
"...We are so proud of the work your children did to give such a meaningful gift to the older adults in your community. We were so touched by their desire to bring joy to these very deserving residents that we would like to match their donation of two Joy for All Companion Pets with two additional pets to bring happiness to even more people at the Friendship Health & Living Community.”
Very soon after another cat and a puppy arrived to the Friendship campus! The Friendship team thought it would be fun to surprise the Bell children, as they had previously surprised residents. Recently the kids came to campus and Diane and the team surprised them with the news and the new pets!! The kids were overwhelmed with appreciation and had a great time presenting the pets to residents!
Many thanks to Bibiana and Conner for your thoughtfulness and to Joy For All Companion Pets for your generosity!!
