Celebrating the Heart of Care During Nursing Week

Earlier this May, Friendship proudly celebrated National Nurses Week and Skilled Nursing Care Week by recognizing the incredible nurses, CNAs, therapists, and healthcare professionals who care for residents across our communities in Roanoke and Salem.

Throughout the week, our teams enjoyed special treats, appreciation events, and small tokens of gratitude as a way to thank them for the compassion, dedication, and expertise they bring to senior care every day. Whether helping a resident regain strength after rehabilitation or providing comfort and support through long-term care, our nursing staff makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are also honored that Friendship’s skilled nursing communities have previously been recognized among America’s Best Nursing Homes by Newsweek — a reflection of the outstanding care and commitment demonstrated by our team members each day.
