Friendship Living Appoints Chuck Flynn As New Administrator For Assisted Living Facility

ROANOKE, Va. (May 18, 2018) – Friendship Living, a leader in senior living and accommodations, has announced the selection of Chuck Flynn as its new Administrator for their assisted living facility. Flynn comes to Friendship from Carrington Cottages where he served as Administrator of their memory care facility. In his role, Flynn made significant changes to operations that contributed to streamlined communications and improvements to resident care.

Three years ago Flynn participated in the Administrator In Training (AIT) Program for assisted living facilities. In addition, he recently completed his AIT for nursing home facilities. “I have a passion for serving others and I’m dedicated to leading and developing my team,” explained Flynn. “With Friendship, I was very impressed with the leadership team they had in place.  The staff I’ve met are very engaged and completely focused on the care of each resident. Plus, I loved the dining room, which was very welcoming, and the food I tried was simply fantastic.”

Prior to his tenure as Administrator at Carrington Cottage Memory Care, Flynn served as the Administrator of Bethel Ridge.  He also worked for Interim HealthCare as their Staffing Director. Before joining the healthcare field, Flynn worked in the newspaper business for many years at The Roanoke Times in the production and circulation departments.

A native of Bluefield, Virginia, Flynn earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Radford University where he majored in Speech Communications with a minor in Psychology. He and his wife, Megan, met in college and have two daughters.
