Board of Directors
Hello all,
Thank you for your continued understanding as everything COVID-19-related keeps evolving.
We still have no confirmed cases in any of our campuses, and this remains to be our goal in the coming days and weeks.
After an internal leadership call today, the team decided we need to take further precaution in regards to the item pick up and drop off protocol, which was revised yesterday.
Please note, any items being brought to residents now need to be in the manufacturer’s packaging that can be easily wiped down. We will no longer accept homemade goods or items not in their original packaging. Drop offs of food, loose items, clothing, etc. that are difficult to disinfect prior to entering may pose an unnecessary additional risk. We appreciate your cooperation to help protect the health and well-being of everyone in our campuses.
The schedule will remain the same for the time being, however this too is subject to change:
As previously stated, the security or concierge team member who will accept your item(s) will be wearing gloves and a mask, and will immediately wipe down the packaging with a disinfectant wipe prior to entering the building. Security will then take the item(s) to the nurses’ station located closest to the resident for delivery.
Again, if you are not feeling well, please do not bring in items for residents.
Thank you for your understanding and team work. The goal through all of these measures is to best protect our residents and team members, who are the heart and soul of our community.
Gratefully,
Joe Hoff, President & CEO
