We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to share with you that we still have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in any of our campuses. Thank you for the kind words, prayers, encouragement and cooperation you've expressed to our teams in the last few weeks.
Yesterday afternoon, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention made the recommendation that healthcare personnel will be required to wear a face mask while in patient care areas. So in response, at 7 a.m. this morning, leaders throughout Friendship's organization met colleagues at the single point of entry into our buildings as they arrived. As team members completed the screening procedures, they were provided a face mask and will be wearing them moving forward.
Again, we have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our campuses, this is just another preventative measure we are taking to protect the health and well-being of everyone in our community.
We also want to make you aware of a new service we are providing. Our community is now making "Peace of Mind" Care Packages -- available at cost -- for residents and team members. The contents are being supplied by Friendship's vendor partners and the delivery of the items is in compliance with the safety precautions and protocols currently in place in our buildings.
We have three different kits available for purchase, ranging in cost from $8 to $18. To learn more about the "Peace of Mind" care packages and to place an order, please go to: www.friendship.us/peace-of-mind-care-package.
As we navigate our way through these unusual times, your continued understanding and teamwork is greatly appreciated. We hope you are taking advantage of the GoTo Meeting capabilities established in each of our residences, to stay connected "virtually" with your loved ones. If not, please contact the Activities Director in the building where your loved one resides.
Again, thank you. Take care and stay well.
