For many individuals who have recently experienced orthopedic surgery, at-home recovery is either not an option, or not optimal. That’s why Friendship created our dedicated specialized Orthopedic Care Unit to focus on short-term, post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation.
Located in our Health and Rehab Center, this unit allows our staff to focus on rehabilitation services and the needs of our patients. The Unit features comfortable rooms, Internet access, unlimited visitation hours, and a separate entry for easy access. But the heart of the program is our care. We create a therapy program designed specifically for each patient, and a customized discharge plan to smooth the transition back to living at home. That means more than just getting our patients back to their normal lives faster. They’re more prepared and capable when they head home.
