ROANOKE, Va. (April 10, 2009) – Ken Srpan of Friendship Retirement Community has been recognized by the LOA Area on Aging with its Staff Award.
This award, awarded by Susan Williams, Executive Director of the LOA, was presented to Srpan for his support of the LOA staff. Srpan has supported the agency for more than five years, often providing space at Friendship for LOA staff meetings and appreciation lunches.
The Area on Aging 5th Planning District of Virginia’s mission is helping older persons remain independent for as long as possible. Srpan, who manages the apartment rentals for Friendship Independent Living, shares a similar goal. “I’m delighted to be able to help the LOA at anytime. They are a great organization, dedicated to serving the senior community,” he said.
