The Board of Directors of Friendship Foundation has announced the promotions of three senior managers. C. Michael Shannon, currently Friendship's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has also been named Chief Administrative Officer. Shannon joined Friendship in 2004.
Tony W. Kelly, Administrator of Friendship Health and Rehab Center has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Kelly has been with the organization since 1987.
Barbara H. Johnson has been promoted to Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Compliance. Johnson joined Friendship in 2000.
Founded in 1966, Friendship Foundation oversees Friendship Retirement Community, home to approximately 1000 residents in independent, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. Friendship employs over 600 people and is one of the largest retirement communities in Virginia.
