Major Helen Padgett, an 84 year old resident of Friendship Retirement Community is featured in the 1st publication of the Virginia Health Care Association's Who's Who in Virginia's Long Term Care Facilities calendar. The calendar's theme "Strolling Down Memory Lane" captures Major Padgett's experiences as a Salvation Army officer. Her career involved contributions to the community bu helping the needy find a new and better life as well as helping restore hope to those who experienced a disaster.
Major Padgett's profile will also be featured on VHCA's website at www.vhca.org. The program "Strolling Down Memory Lane" theme emphasizes the importance of recounting past events in the lives of our long term care residents and honoring them for their contributions to their families and communities.
